U.S. Management 

José joined ALK-Abelló as President in April 2006, bringing years of experience in Corporate Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions and Investor Relations. Prior to joining ALK-Abelló in the U.S., José served as CFO for Applus Denmark and as Director of Investor Relations & Corporate Development for Chr. Hansen Holding. His experience spans across several European countries and industries.

José holds a Masters Degree in Law from the University of Murcia, Spain and an MBA from the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris, France. In addition, he has participated in several Executive Education programs at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

As Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Jorge brings more than 20 years of experience in business development and sales and marketing in the biotech, medical diagnostics and diverse business-to-business industrial markets. Prior to joining ALK-Abelló, Jorge worked in the biotech start-up field where he successfully launched the Latin American business unit for a major microbiological supplier. Jorge joined ALK-Abelló in 1999 and has been instrumental in developing a strong training environment and a performance-based culture within his organization.

Jorge holds a BE in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and an MBA from New Hampshire College.

PETER HAUCK                                                                                                              Vice President of Product Supply 

Peter has served as Vice President of Product Supply since ALK-Abelló's acquisition of Center Laboratories in 2000, a company headed by Peter prior to his tenure at ALK-Abelló. Peter brings more than 30 years of experience in the allergen extracts business and during that time has authored 13 scientific publications on allergens and allergenic extracts. Peter serves as the Industry representative for the FDA's Allergenic Products Advisory Committee and is the Executive Director for Scientific Affairs for the Allergen Products Manufacturer's Association.

Peter has a B.S. degree in Biological Science from Kansas State University. He served his country with the 11th Light Infantry Brigade in Viet Nam in 1967-68

Kelly brings to ALK-Abelló more than 20 years of experience in finance from a multitude of business environments, including healthcare, manufacturing, non-profit, and service organizations. Prior to joining ALK-Abelló, Kelly served as Director of Accounting in a healthcare organization where she was responsible for the financial operations of several non-profit companies as well as the start-up of a for-profit MSO company. In this role, Kelly was responsible for building the financial structure, which led her to acquire expertise in strategic planning and organizational development. Kelly joined ALK-Abelló in 2000 and has been instrumental in developing and maintaining a solid framework for the Finance and IT operations of the company.

Kelly has been a CPA for over 15 years and holds a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Texas State University
