ALK has been working in the allergy field since 1923, concentrating our skills and resources on the development, production and distribution of products for the diagnosis, prevention and cure of allergies, and the relief of allergic symptoms. Our driving force is a wish to understand the basic mechanisms of allergy.
In recent years, we have pursued a product development strategy of extending the current market of specialist administered subcutaneous vaccination to orally delivered alternatives. ALK's pipeline contains tablet-based products based on natural allergens against grass pollen and house dust mites.
